You’ve all heard about the dolphin slaughter happening in Taiji, Japan. But have you heard about the one which happened on the 21st on January 2013, in Fanelei village, Solomon Islands? During the 2011-2012-season, about 800 dolphins were killed in Taiji (about 400 fewer than the year before). On the 21st of January 2013, villagers of Fanalei caught and killed 700 dolphins. LATEST NEWS: This morning, 19/12/12, 2 Bottlenose Dolphins were transported into small concrete tanks of Dolphin Resort. They will now reside in these tanks until they are sold within the captive trade, eating dead fish and entertaining humans for the rest of their lives. These same animals who just few days ago witnessed the slaughter of their own family and were brutally separated from them.
